GYB Mission
Give Your Best aims to empower people in need of women’s clothes who are refugees, seeking asylum, destitute, with no recourse to public funds or with precarious immigration status, through access to choice. GTB want to contribute to restoring people’s dignity as they choose what they want to wear from our catalogue of donated clothing, where people can ‘shop’ for free.

They are also passionate about sustainability and tackling donation waste.

THey’re an LGBTQI+ inclusive platform and we stand strongly and passionately for all human rights.

I am really excited to be sharing the Sunbird Yoga Community with you!

You can join the Sunbird Yoga Community on Vimeo with access to the month’s classes plus weekly e-letters to support your practice for 5€/£ per month.

But not just that! All the profits* from the subscription fee will be donated to an organisation nominated by this community. This means the more people who become part of and share the community, the more we can donate.

I have spent a lot of time this year- more than any other I can remember- thinking about ways that I can show up. Ways that I can use my voice and my privilege to live more accordingly to the teachings and principles of yoga. Ways that I can serve. Maybe you have been feeling the same.

Taking our practice off the mat is what its all about. Our physical practice is a training ground for living with love, empathy and compassion. Helping us to realise that “no one is free until we are all free”**. That moksha, liberation, means nothing on the individual level if others are suffering.

And this is how, with your support and encouragement (as always!!), the idea for the Sunbird Yoga Community came about. My hope for this community is that it will continue to grow and develop, and as it does, we can help to support those working towards equity and social justice, together.

I will add you to the email list and send the password for the video library for the month once the payment has been received.
Bank transfer is the best way to make a payment.

New to the classes and want to try it first? There are 2 months of videos on Vimeo available to use for free- please feel free to share and enjoy.
Nominate a charity. The organisations supported are nominated by members and chosen at random- most likely names drawn from a hat (keeping it old school). Every 3 months, a new charity will be selected.
I will update the website/social media with the organisation we are supporting and the monthly total raised.
